There are two styles of jetted tubs, pneumatic and digital. Pneumatics tubs have an "air" button that turns pump on and off. ​

Digitals jetted tubs have electronic controls to  control pump and could also have auxiliary heaters and blowers with temperature displayed.

The key to jetted bathtub repair is access. In some cases access to the equipment is not available and a new access panel would have to be installed for access to electrical outlet, pumps and switches.
